Nathan smiled when the other male did. Anytime Nathan saw a smile on somebody he cared about he automatically smiled, no matter what mood he was in. But Nathan couldn’t get over how charming Jesse was. It would probably shock him for as long as they were together. Nathan watched Jesse for a moment, shaking his head. He hated the pictures from when he was younger, the longer hair, to the point where it really bothered him because it reminded him of the past. He shook the thoughts mentally and walked along side the other male to the car. He smiled wide when Jesse opened the door for him, “Thank you.” he said with a wide smile. He loved that Jesse was just as cheesy as he was. He chuckled then looked over at the other male. He chewed on his lower lip, “Surprise me? I’ll like anywhere you take me.” he admitted with a smile, his cheeks blushing slightly.
Jesse blinked. He had not expected Nathan to make him decide. Jesse would always ask someone what they wanted, so perhaps being asked what he wanted was a good change. “I know just the place.” Jesse grinned as he continued driving, his eyes glued to the road.
They had been driving for a few minutes, yet no conversation occurred. Usually, this would be awkward for Jesse, but it was Nathan. He seemed the least uncomfortable around his boyfriend. Boyfriend. Jesse still wasn’t used to saying that. Perhaps because he couldn’t believe that he actually had one? Perhaps. It was a weird feeling, realizing you had a boyfriend. Butterflies all over one’s stomach, definitely. After all of this running through his mind, Jesse removed one of his hand from the steering wheel when the road was less hectic and held Nathan’s hand, blushing as he did so.
