Nathan smiled when the other male did. Anytime Nathan saw a smile on somebody he cared about he automatically smiled, no matter what mood he was in. But Nathan couldn’t get over how charming Jesse was. It would probably shock him for as long as they were together. Nathan watched Jesse for a moment, shaking his head. He hated the pictures from when he was younger, the longer hair, to the point where it really bothered him because it reminded him of the past. He shook the thoughts mentally and walked along side the other male to the car. He smiled wide when Jesse opened the door for him, “Thank you.” he said with a wide smile. He loved that Jesse was just as cheesy as he was. He chuckled then looked over at the other male. He chewed on his lower lip, “Surprise me? I’ll like anywhere you take me.” he admitted with a smile, his cheeks blushing slightly.
Jesse blinked. He had not expected Nathan to make him decide. Jesse would always ask someone what they wanted, so perhaps being asked what he wanted was a good change. “I know just the place.” Jesse grinned as he continued driving, his eyes glued to the road.
They had been driving for a few minutes, yet no conversation occurred. Usually, this would be awkward for Jesse, but it was Nathan. He seemed the least uncomfortable around his boyfriend. Boyfriend. Jesse still wasn’t used to saying that. Perhaps because he couldn’t believe that he actually had one? Perhaps. It was a weird feeling, realizing you had a boyfriend. Butterflies all over one’s stomach, definitely. After all of this running through his mind, Jesse removed one of his hand from the steering wheel when the road was less hectic and held Nathan’s hand, blushing as he did so.

Nathan couldn’t help but smile when Jesse blushed, “I’m glad.” he grinned, chewing on his lower lip slightly. Nathan couldn’t be happier that Jesse had brought him flowers, it made him feel special. “I really appreciate it, it makes me feel special.” He said in response. He smiled and led Jesse into his dorm room, looking around for a moment before walking to the kitchen. He found one of his little vase’s and put water in it, soon putting the flowers in. He smiled and walked to his makeshift living room, placing them on the table. He knew there were pictures of him from when he was younger, after he started dressing like a boy of course, he wouldn’t have ones of him as girl around, it would drive him crazy. He knew he’d told Jesse but how did he tell Jesse he was having the surgery, the one to make it once step closer to being a male physically. He then walked over to his boyfriend and grinned, “Ready to go?”
Jesse smiled timidly as Nathan expressed how he felt that way. It was a simple action, something that Jesse would do everyday, just for Nathan. Jesse had fun looking around the pictures. He liked seeing how Nathan was back when he was a kid. Jesse grinned as he looked at various pictures of Nathan. He turned around when he saw Nathan approaching him and smiled. “Yeah,” Jesse nodded as they walked side by side to his car, Jesse reaching out to hold Nathan’s hand because he felt like it. By the time they arrived at the car door, Jesse offered to open the door for Nathan. It was a cheesy act, but like Jesse said, he’s all kinds of cheesy. After so, he went ahead and sat down in the driver’s seat. Moments later, he started the car and off they went. “So uh,” Jesse said awkwardly. “I actually had no idea where to bring you for dinner.” Jesse said, biting his lips. “Where would you like to go?”

Nathan’s smile stayed on his lips as his boyfriend smiled. It was good to know that Nathan wasn’t somebody Jesse could easily forget. “I’ve missed you.” Nathan smiled, biting his lower lip slightly. He heard the tone of Jesse’s voice, clearly he hadn’t expected Nathan to notice but he was going to go in for a hug and the arm behind the back caught him by surprise. He smiled wide, a light blush coming to his cheeks when he saw the flowers. He took the flowers and smiled wide, “They are beautiful, thank you.” he said with a wide smile. He was nervous around the other male and he wanted to kiss him in that moment but his nervous were getting the best of him. He looked at the other male, “Do you mind if I put them in water first?”
Jesse was blushing like crazy. “I uh missed you too.” Jesse grinned. Jesse immediately smiled timidly once Nathan saw the flowers. He didn’t expect that his flowers would be discovered so easily. “You’re uh welcome.” Jesse said to him. His palms were continuing to sweat with his nervousness. “Uh, sure! Definitely!” Jesse said, kind of nervous about going to the dinner, so he tried to do anything to waste some time. He watched as Nathan entered back inside and smiled at the flowers appreciatively before going away for a while to get a vase, leaving Jesse to look around his house. It seemed like the kind of house Nathan would live in. Simple yet stylish. There were even photos of Nathan back when he was young and Jesse giggled at them.

Jesse almost immediately smiled when Nathan opened the door. He was just so glad that Nathan hadn’t forgotten him, really. “Hey yourself.” Jesse smiled, almost just as flirty as Nathan. It has only been a few minutes since Nathan opened the door and he already noticed his hands. “Uh,” Jesse muttered, unsure if he should give the flowers already. Deciding that there would be no better moment, he put out his hand, which had a small bouquet of roses. “Here you uh go.” Jesse shrugged as he gave Nathan the bouquet as he shyly motioned the car to Nathan, signalling that they should go soon.Jesse was worried. For the past few days, he hadn’t seen Nathan at all. Perhaps he was overreacting, but that was just Jesse. But when he finally found Nathan, he was relieved. After a little chat, it somehow ended up with Jesse asking Nathan out for dinner and poetry.
And…
Jesse was worried. For the past few days, he hadn’t seen Nathan at all. Perhaps he was overreacting, but that was just Jesse. But when he finally found Nathan, he was relieved. After a little chat, it somehow ended up with Jesse asking Nathan out for dinner and poetry.
And here he was, dressing up for the occasion. He still had a few mimutes left, so he decided to stop by the flower shop and get some flowers for Nathan. It might be cheesy, but that’s just Jesse.
Jesse finally arrived in front of Nathan’s door. His palms were sweating with nervousness. After a deep breath, he lift his hand to knock twice on Nathan’s door, putting the flowers behind his back and waiting for Nathan to open the door.
